Lila always wanted to take their relationship to the next level, but Joe eventually broke it off with her. Then things turned romantic for the couple, although Lila really just described having drunk sex with him. They were pen pals and comforted each other through their many surgeries. Lila actually met Joe when she was 13 years old. This is why it was such a big deal for Lila to be in the same room as Terra and Joe during last Wednesday night's episode. If that's the case, we all ought to get to know Lila a bit better. Keep this up, and you may just get to stick around for a little while longer, girl. Lila seems to just provoke conflict, and she doesn't exactly shy away from it. Let's just say when you bring someone a skunk costume to wear, you can't be that shocked when she gets pissed, OK Lila?
LITTLE WOMEN LA PLUS
There's still more drama to be had at Tonya's party, plus the gang decides to do a 5K run together, which looks like it will end in nothing but disaster. Though Lila isn't a full-time Little Women: LA cast member just yet, she will be appearing in Wednesday night's new episode. So the fact that a fight broke out when Christy brought Lila unannounced to Tonya's Used Date Party really isn't all that surprising. Not only do you know she's trouble because she's friends with Christy, but she also has a history with Joe. Lila's appearance on Little Women: LA was just the "Booty Bee" that broke the camel's back. OK, so as I mentioned, the drama was already there between these frenemies, and it has been since Season 1 of the show. And it was all thanks to a new face on Little Women: LA, Lila. After weeks of tension building between cast members Terra and Christy, it culminated in an explosive fight where Christy's husband Todd and, randomly, Traci's husband Erik came to blows. Between her and Elena’s dry begging for fans to hire her and Preston in her vlog, they both were clearly living above their means and now that the rug has been pulled from under them, are scrambling.I still don't think I've recovered from last Wednesday night's episode of Little Women: LA.
She was going on and on about how the vibes are off in the home, but in reality I’m sure she was hedging on the show money to afford it and now that she’s just getting the EP credit on Atlanta, needs to be somewhere lower cost. I watch Terra’s vlogs occasionally as well and her latest one it seems like she was having a lowkey breakdown she just bought a new house in 2020 and is already wanting to sell it and move elsewhere in 2021. I had a feeling something was up even before Elena’s video. Plus with her being a core cast member, I’d assumed they’d be informed way before “friends of” on the show. From how Elena was speaking, the cancellation was new news in the past week or so, so much so that it disrupted their family lifestyle plans for 2021. I just watched her video, it definitely seems like production was in communications with her last year but things fell apart due to the pandemic. Best of luck to all the cast on their future endeavors. Salute to them for pioneering their own dwarfism centered version of Real Housewives, and giving us the gift of Little Women Atlanta.
LITTLE WOMEN LA SERIES
Though the cancellation isn’t surprising, it’s still kinda sad to see them go out like this, without a series finale. COVID-19 was just the icing on the cake the cost to produce the show in the midst of a pandemic isn’t justified by the views, plus California is way more locked down than just about any other state. LA had been struggling in the ratings for a few seasons since Briana left, and one of the larger storylines, Christy and Terra being pregnant due around the same time with their 3rd kids, but Christy’s baby passing and Terra’s living would’ve been too loaded to really touch on. She said that maybe in the future they’ll bring them back, but for now it’s over. Time stamped at 1:10, basically the network decided not to renew them for a 9th season.
